It’s In the Bag (Changes In Attitude Fashion Show)

Whew! It’s almost been a week since our fashion show, (which was a complete success, by the way) and I’ve finally found a moment to write about it…now that we’ve all recuperated from the organized chaos.
The evening was filled with energy from all ends of the spectrum – the lights, the stage, the cameras, the people. If you were one of the guests to attend, then you’ll understand what I’m referring to. Such a fun night! I’m hoping the audience captured the beauty and calmness that the models so eloquently displayed because backstage gave a whole different aura. As busy and fast-paced as it was, though, everything was under control and smooth-sailing thanks to our volunteers and staff! With that said, I must give a huge shout out to Angela Engelhaupt, Sam Barnhill and Kathy Travis of The Buckle in The Promenade Shops at Centerra, Erica - one of our stylists, Laura and Kayla – our apprentices, and Kelsey Blomquist, Kirsten Budd, Haley Cole-Moench, Annelise Jorgensen, Tangier Barnes, Nikki Priddy, and Anne (Ella) Haley - our fabulous models. I could not have pulled off this show without all of your help. Ladies, thank you for doing such a fantastic job. You are all marvelous!
For the duration of just over half an hour, our hairstylists (Murat, Erica and Laura) were able to showcase some of their creative talents on seven models who flaunted the latest fashions from Francesca’s Collections and The Buckle at the Centerra Shops in Loveland. The runway was alit by the abstruse equipment from True Light Productions along with the flashbulbs that captured the action as the ladies played to the audience. I was told by several guests that the stage and backdrop was too elaborate for likes of Loveland - a good thing indeed. Besides, why would anyone expect anything less than perfection? After all, perfect hair and perfect fashions need be accompanied by perfection, don’t you think? And that’s what our fantastic sponsors provided, hands down. You can visit our Facebook page to view the spectacular photos from the evening, behind the scenes and during the show…just search under our name, Enchante A European Salon. And while you’re at it, why don’t you become a fan?
There, you’ll see the names of the photographers who captured the action behind the camera, and what kind of person would I be not to mention them here? Thank you to Steve Glass and Justin Fisher, whose work you can view by clicking on the links on our Network page here on our website. Thank you to all who attended our exciting evening of fun, funky hair, and fashion! Without you, we wouldn’t have had anyone to entertain.
One last, great, big thank you to True Light Productions for providing our stage and to Robin Event Rentals for providing our draping for the backdrop and backstage area. Thank you to Francesca’s and The Buckle for dressing our models. Thank you to Barb Fisher, make up artist, for making our models look chic (because they’re already gorgeous). To Steve Glass of Glass Photography and Justin Fisher of Justin Photographic, thank you for donating your time to capture the evening on film. Thank you, again, to Angela, Sam and Kathy for your help backstage. Thank you to the Arc of Larimer County for collaborating and making us a part of your one year anniversary. Thank you to Kirsten, Kelsey, Haley, Tangier, Annelise, Anne (Ella) and Nikki for providing your heads and struttin’ your stuff. And last but not least, thank you to the girls here at the salon for all your help backstage. I love you crazy ladies!
